“Kindness, the Universal Language
That all people understand,”
Is what Gail Lynne Goodwin wrote—
There cannot be a better way
To begin than with this quote!
Also, there’s no reason not
To observe “WORLD KINDNESS”
EVERY DAY,
Reminding us that everyone
Has an important part to play,
In making this a better world
In every single way,
By speaking and acting kindly,
Every single day!
Rhetoric that’s harsh and mean,
Acts causing suffering and strife,
Have no place in our wonderful world,
Where we’re blessed with the gift of life!
We had no choice in being born,
We’re indebted to God and to our parents—
In gratitude it’s up to us
To behave in ways inherent . . .
For deep inside each soul resides
A voice that summons our attention—
And opens up our hearts and minds
To an all-encompassing dimension . . .
It tells us to be kind to all,
No matter who or where—
Different philosophies and opinions,
We can share calmly if we care
About and respect each other,
Whether or not we can agree,
Since that’s the way it’s meant to be
For all humanity!
